My first gadget

Mi first camera.

I got my first camera when I was twelve years old; it was a gift from my dad because I like scenery backgrounds. My first camera was too big for my little hands I couldn’t grab it, also my camera was pink and use many rolls so we spent too much money buying rolls. However, it gave me the experience to take good pictures. I used it on all of my trips, it was fantastic! I usually take pictures of many kinds of scenery backgrounds like my family, friends and my pets but as you can guess not all came out great… Some were cut off, some were blurry, but with time they came out beautiful. Nowadays, I still love taking pictures of not only scenery background but also of moments of life that I think it is memorable to me.

My ideal home

My ideal home could be more spacious than the place I live now.

It could be two-storey apartment, with large rooms, a comfortable living room, a special room for my cats, a walk in closet and a kitchen with all the appliances. Also there would be big windows, bright colour walls with many kind of pictures of my family, friends and my kitty cats. I think my ideal home should be in the suburbs. The indoor features in my ideal home would have air conditioning, fireplace, furnace, all the rooms would be sunny and bright. The outdoors would have a big fountain, a swimming pool and a beautiful big garden with many kinds of flowers. 

An e-mail to apologize

Hello Emily, 

How are you? I hope you’re fine. First of all I want to apologize for not calling you to tell you that I could not go to the theatre with you. My parents had suddenly left to an event therefore I had to babysit my little brother and help him with his homework. I hope you went and enjoyed and liked the show. Sorry, again, for not advising you in advance but if you would like we can go to the cinema tomorrow evening. There is a good Peruvian film called “Asumare” if you would like we can go and see it, let me know.

Santa Rosa market

This is the Santa Rosa market 

At this market they sell everything such as fruit, vegetables, clothes, electronics, candy, toys, and so on. My mom usually comes here when she lacks of something to cook, sometimes she sends me or my brother over there.  I usually buy food or toys for my pretty cat, prices are very reasonable. When all the family go together, at the end of the shopping day, my dad buy us a treat, -ice cream-. I also find it interesting, because you can see weird things such as strange toys, the bargening and many kind of pets.

Taxis in Lima

The taxis in Lima could be streesful or comfortable

It depends of the time if you take a taxi at 6am, 2pm,6pm o 8pm the traffic of the city it's terrible. The autopist are crawned of many cars, buses or taxis and that stress you, sometimes the people wants to go to their school, university, work, and so on but the traffic can change a trip of 15 minutes to a 1 hour or more. If you are not on the traffic hours you go to many places comfortable aun quite calm and fast. The price is another topic to talk about. In the supermarke, airport or other place like that exist a taxi rank and you can see table of price and they can't take up to the price. But if you take the taxi in the street they can say you any price that they want and if you are hurry you can´t said to another price.

My favorite dish

My favorite dish is "Bisteck a lo pobre"

I love "Bisteck a lo pobre" because i like the banana. the meat and the rice. My mom prepare this dish very delicious i go run to the chicken when she prepared that and in many times y i repeat the plate. She know prepare a very good "Bisteck a lo pobre". In many places they don't preprare very well the banana is burnt or the meat is very lasts and so on. Some restaurants prepare"Bisteck a lo pobre" very well and it is cheap an also many restaurants prepare horrible and it's expensive. In my case i prefer the kind of prepare my mom.

Culture Shock

Well, i saw many people  that when they changed of country they changed his lifestyle to that country, since to adapt, some persons support some of his customs that do not use them often and very little show them. Other persons in spite of changing country even have his customs of his native land since there are others that changed totally everything into them. When the persons come to Lima they can get lost with the names of the avenues, the food also is different to what they are accustomed, and so on. So usually they gets confused on having come, if it is that they don’t know. In my case I don’t experiment the culture shock but I saw many people who live it.
